BURSARIES & AWARDS
As the issue of impaired driving remains problematic in our community, Action Sudbury is pleased to commend those that strive to inform our comunity to drive aware not impaired!
During the Annual Red Ribbon Campaign Launch Action Sudbury-Citizens Against Impaired Driving, presents the ROLLANDE MOUSSEAU CITIZEN RECOGNITION AWARD, honouring the Spirit of Community to recognize a person working and/or volunteering to eliminate the tragedies caused by impaired driving in the City of Greater Sudbury.
Action Sudbury offers some bursaries to high school students who wish to pursue post-secondary studies in a college or university. Each bursary has a value of $500.00. These bursaries will be awarded to eligible students who attend a high school in the City of Greater Sudbury. The application form along with the confirming letter and receipt to be received no later than May 15th every year.
1. Be a full time student, at a high school, registered to attend a college or university in the upcoming fall term.
2. Be actively involved with a recognized school group in the fight against drinking and driving.
3. A letter from the school, being attended, confirming the involvement of the student.
4. Provide an official receipt from the college or university to be attended.
