October 2011 Dear Colleagues, Impaired driving continues to be an issue in our community. The need for continued awareness, understanding and knowledge about this issue remains crucial. The people who have devoted their lives to addressing this issue put their hearts and souls into helping people. These dedicated people deserve to be recognized! During this years Red Ribbon Campaign Launch Action Sudbury-Citizens Against Impaired Driving, we will be presenting the ROLLANDE MOUSSEAU CITIZEN RECOGNITION AWARD, Honoring the Spirit of Community to a person working and/or volunteering to eliminate the tragedies caused by impaired driving in the City of Greater Sudbury, who you believe deserves to be recognized. Please complete the attached nomination form providing as much detail as possible. All nominations will be considered by a panel of representatives from Action Sudbury-Citizens Against Impaired Driving. The nominees will be judged solely on what is included on the ballot. It is crucial that you provide as much detail as possible in the categories listed below.
Nominations must be received no later than November 14, 2011, at 4:00 p.m., to give the panel enough time to thoroughly review them. The award will be presented at our annual Red Ribbon Launch. Please notify your nominee(s) so that they will be available to attend the annual Red Ribbon Campaign Launch, November 25, 2011, at the Travelodge Hotel, 1401 Paris Street, Sudbury.
