Action Sudbury's Red Ribbon Kick Off
Action Sudbury will be donating up to $750.00 towards snacks at the Drug Awareness Week & Movie Festival.
Action Sudbury will be donating $3,500.00 to the Snowmobile Trail Officer Patrol to help offset costs incurred while volunteering to patrol the snowmobile trails. To date we have donated $12,320.00 to S.T.O.P. & another $700.00 to the Young Snowmobilers Ride.
Action Sudbury paid to have a anti drinking & driving billboard installed in Nairn Centre at a cost of $2,650.00
Action Sudbury donated $1,000.00 to help Marymount College with their OSAID work.
Action Sudbury donated $4,000.00 towards Ride programs & community patrols. So far there have been two impaired driving charges, eight twelve hour suspensions, one 90 day suspension, thirty three Provincial offence tickets, fifty speeding tickets, 25 seatbelt charges, one drive under suspension & one 90 day Administrative Driver Licence Suspension during the Action Sudbury sponsored patrols. There will be one more Action Sudbury sponsored Ride patrol in October.
Action Sudbury purchased a roadside screening device for the Greater Sudbury Police Service at a cost of approximately $1,500.00. Presentation here.
